The World Series of Poker Europe (WSOPE) officially kicks off tomorrow with a press conference featuring Phil Hellmuth and David “Devilfish” Ulliott.
Many big names in poker have been confirmed, including Doyle Brunson, Daniel Negreanu, Phil Ivey, Eli Elezra, Gus Hansen and Allen Cunningham.
With a £10,000 buy-in there is no doubt this will be the richest tournament ever in Europe.

The inaugural World Series of Poker Europe is set to start next month.
There will be three events with official gold bracelets for the winner of each event.
The WSOPE 2007 events:
Some of the big names in poker that have already signed up, Doyle Brunson, Phil Hellmuth, Phil Ivey, Allen Cunningham, Erik Seidel, Roland de Wolfe, John Juanda, Eli Elezra, Howard Lederer, Humberto Brenes and Jennifer Harman.
Phil Hellmuth recently won his record breaking eleventh World Series Of Poker bracelet. In a statement to the press he said: “I’m going to London to make history again by winning the first WSOP bracelet ever awarded outside of Las Vegas.”
“There are over 60 WSOP bracelets between the pre-registrants so far,” said World Series of Poker Commissioner Jeffrey Pollack. “The inaugural World Series Europe will have a world-class field”.

The entry fee for the main event at each site will be $5,000.
